Almost three years ago my husband, Dean and I joined CGI Holistic Fitness Club. I was very concerned for my health because a doctor told me I may be in the early stages of multiple sclerosis, but the medical tests they performed were inconclusive. However, I was still experiencing unexplained partial paralysis on one side of my body and came to the realization that recovery was in my own hands. I decided to use the holistic approach. I fully immersed myself in the Dahn program, and whenever a special training opportunity came along, I jumped right in. Gradually, my physical condition improved to the point where I was able to participate in outdoor training (which involved some hiking in the woods) and just as gradually the anxiety about my health began to dissolve. As it dissolved, I began to be more at peace with myself and the people around me. Now I am a Dahn instructor in the Fort Lee Senior Center. This has given me an opportunity to share my Dahn experience with others and I must say, those members who participate in the Dahn classes absolutely love it! I love watching how their faces have brightened since this program began.I am very grateful for Dahn`s appearance in my life and I am looking forward to a long and beautiful association with the organization and the many new friends I have made at the Dahn Center - this includes the Masters as well as the other members. I really feel as though we are all one big family and spreading

A few years ago when my wife, Barbara, and I moved to Closter, I was looking for a nice place to get bac
k into shape. CGI seemed like just the place. Little did we know we would be introduces to so much more.Upstairs was the Holistic Healing Center and the Dahn Room where I took my first Dahn class.

Dahn classes came with my membership so I decided to give it a try. It was an amazing experience, Although I considered myself in shape physically, the Dahn classes made me aware of the energy surrounding me and all of us. I began to realize that exercising my mind and spirit was just as important as exercising my body. Dahn practice has opened up a whole new aspect of my life.

I have always felt that if we kept our bodies in shape. We would be able to achieve more and enjoy life more and live healthier lives. However, the Dahn classes have shown me that my body was only a third of my existence. Two thirds of myself was being ignored! My life has been enhanced in unexpected and wonderful ways.

My performance in all aspects of life has improved tremendously. When I was shown how to exercise and use the other two thirds of myself, I experience a great sense of control. I've learned how to gain control over my emotions and over my reactions to events of life. I have also realizes that I have just begun on this path introduced to me by Dahn practice.

It's exciting to know that there is a lot more to come. When we truly exercise our body, mind and spirit together, happiness is a by-product.

Thank you for everything

Eighteen months ago I came to the Dahn Center tired, stressed, with high blood pressure and a bad back. Within three months my blood pressure came down and I was off medication, my stress level diminished and I was a different person to live with. Now, 20 pounds lighter, gradually more flexible and just as enthused, I`m finding that the balance between physical and mental well being keeps me coming back.

Dahn practice has affected me in profound ways. My return to physical health after chronic and severe back and neck problems is the most obvious. After a year at the Dahn Center, strength and flexibility replaces my former stiffness, pain and weakness. Old patterns of compensating for injury and stress are releasing to allow my spine and posture to straighten. I have also begun to recognize and release negative mental habits related to stress that affect my physical and emotional state

I joined because I wanted to change my lifestyle and diet. I have lost 56 pounds and have improved flexibility. I have less pain in my hip and shoulder joints. As a flight attendant for United, I fly to Europe once a week. I often have a problem sleeping on lay-overs because of the time change. I practice my breathing and relaxation techniques to fall asleep. I`m very thankful to be a member of the Dahn Center. It has improved my spirit, attitude and body tone. Thank you
